What's your favorite children's book?
It's hard to choose.
When I was very little, my favorite was "Each Peach Pear Plum" by Allen and Janet Ahlberg.
As I got a little older, I started to love stories by Tor Seidler -- my all-time favorite is "The Wainscott Weasel."
When I became a mother and started collecting new titles from my friends, I was lucky enough to be introduced to "The Gruffalo," "Room on the Broom" and "Charlie Cook's Favorite Book" from the brilliant mind of Julia Donaldson.
My kids love books. We go to the library and bookstores whenever we can. And they're always hungry for more. So I started sharing stories I made up in my own head, telling tall tales before bedtime. One day, I started to write down my best stuff.
And, voila, "The Little Wolf" was born. Coming up soon, "Dog Family," a book inspired by my rambunctious 3-year-old, will hit bookshelves, too.
I am fortunate to know talented artists who have helped me bring my stories to life. And it is a joy to share these stories with all of you.
